- Operating and monitoring shift activities of 12MW Rankine Cycle Power Plant - Maintain round the clock power generation from the Injection Condensing Turbine - Manage team of supervisors and technical staff - Coordination with maintenance department in case of equipment malfunctioning - Liaise with production department for smooth operation of turbine and shutdowns - Start-up the turbine after blackouts and power-jerks - Supervising maintenance work for auxiliaries - Troubleshooting of machines - Making daily reports and reporting to Senior Manager - Ensure all health and safety standards are met - In case of absence of maintenance manager, carry out emergency breakdown work - Carry out maintenance of Heat Recovery Steam Generators in-case of production stoppages - Reducing water consumption of the plant by minimizing blowdowns - Coordinating abnormalities with plant’s grid station - Maintaining daily log sheets and logbook
Training areas included Greige & Pre-Treatment, Dying, Printing, Finishing, Work Shop, Power House & Utilities
Tasks included ensuring smooth operations of the plant through preventive, predictive, corrective and planned maintenance plans. Further making sure that the production doesn’t come to a halt. Identifying and rectifying the break downs. Round the clock check on operations of boilers, chillers, compressors, condensers, heat exchangers and other plant equipment.
