My career journey has been dynamic and continuously evolving. I began my professional life as a Front-End Developer, which laid a solid technical foundation. However, I ultimately discovered my true passion for user experience and design. This transformative journey has equipped me with a diverse skill set that enhances my approach to UX. Over the past 10+ years, I have honed my skills in UX design, leading projects that prioritize user needs and enhance usability. Recently, at City National Bank, my contribution to the Business mobile app's user experience notably reduced task completion clicks by 15%, directly enhancing customer efficiency and access. My expertise in Figma and Design Systems, honed over years of practical application, was integral in leading the creation of City National Bank's Design System. This system streamlined UI components across mobile and desktop platforms, ensuring a cohesive and intuitive user interface. As an Instructor at UC Berkeley Extension, I leverage my extensive background in web development to empower the next generation of designers.
