Conservation professional with a unique set of technical, professional, analytical and interpersonal skills developed through diverse academic, working, and volunteer experiences in biodiversity science, professional services, community-based conservation and conservation education. Currently pursuing a Master of Science in Biodiversity, Conservation and Nature Recovery at the University of Oxford, supported by the General Sir John Monash Foundation researching standardised monitoring, evaluation, and learning frameworks for transnational conservation NGOs in Africa. Seeking to use strong ability to solve wicked problems and translate complex analysis into practical decisions to support protected area strategy, HWC initiatives, monitoring systems, and programme evaluation to create positive outcomes for people and the environment. Particularly passionate about working on landscape-level conservation projects and strategy in developing African nations.
Independently authored the 2025 Pan-African Conservation Education (PACE) Impact Report. This impact assessment involved: - Conducting detailed stakeholder interviews and surveys, and analysing quantitative and qualitative data, to assess the extent to which PACE is currently supporting communities and the environment through conservation education. - Synthesising findings to identify ways to improve the PACE program and better meet the needs of users by developing strategic insights, identifying priorities for the future, and creating meaningful outcomes for PACE supporters. Working in Deloitte’s Sustainability and Climate service offering to deliver biodiversity and natural capital projects, climate risk and scenario analyses, ESG policy development, and sustainability reporting and assurance. Notable projects include: • Global resources company: Development of an industry-first prioritization framework for nature-based mine closure solutions for a global resources company. This novel prioritisation framework was developed by combining stakeholder engagement with GIS spatial analysis, and won Deloitte a long-term contract to assess nature-related closure opportunities at other mine sites. • Pacific Island nations: Deloitte was engaged to produce a country-wide climate risk assessment for two Pacific Island nations across nine major sectors. Roles included report writing, the development of a risk profiles, supporting stakeholder engagement, desktop research and synthesizing data. These reports have been published by SPREP and recieved multiple internal awards. • Nation-wide Energy Market Operator: Performed detailed multi-model transition scenario analysis and authored the annual Sustainability Report (including AASB disclosures) for Australia’s energy maket operator. This project has informed the development of the organisation’s climate strategy and target setting. • State government: Developed a marine spatial planning process for a state government, using case study research and stakeholder engagement, to inform marine management, governance structures, legislation and protected areas development. • Nation-wide telecommunications company: Conducted sustainability assurance for Australia’s largest telecommunication company to ensure compliance. Responsibilities included Scope 1 & 2 emissions testing, site visits, stakeholder interviews, and audit documentation.
Organising and presenting tours, programs and encounters that effectively communicate conservation and scientific information, as well as general animal husbandry, hospitality and administrative tasks at Australia’s leading zoo. Highlights included: • Facilitating the School Holiday and Junior Zookeeper programmes • Providing personalised tours and workshops for foreign diplomats and luxury hotel guests • Training junior staff to provide safe encounters and create effective presentations
Co-founded a sports media group. Activities included hosting, editing, and producing a weekly podcast, and managing social media pages. The podcast was the first of its kind to discuss all sports, and attracted more than 3000 listeners with a 5 star Spotify rating. More than 20 long-form interviews were conducted with leading sportspersons and industry representatives.
This vacationer program involved supporting Deloitte’s Risk Advisory service offering through biodiversity projects, climate risk analyses, natural capital reporting and ESG policy development.
