Project Engineer during the design and construction of two trailing suction hopper dredgers at the Merwede Shipyard in Holland.
Project Engineer in the Scott Lithgow undergraduate training scheme. Working initially in the Scott Lithgow Training Centre gaining experience in shipyard trades, then each summer in various steelwork production areas and outfit departments including plating sheds Cartsburn shipwrights, Glen Yard and Kingston Yard steel preparations sheds, Glen Yard Quality Assurance, Dimensional Control.
