At a multinational company that produces sealing systems (weatherstrip) and gives service to worldwide car manufacturers as Tier 1; • Develop and execute the overall direct material (Carbon Black and Oils for producing our compound, Engineering Plastics products together with the Molds and Packagings) sourcing and purchasing strategy for all manufacturing units in Turkey, Spain, China, Mexico, Morocco, Bulgaria, and South Africa. • Managing 53,5M € global budget with 70 Suppliers and 500+ unique parts • Perform strategic planning of purchasing activities globally depending on budget & scope. • Supervising a Global Raw Material Purchasing Team on Sites for applying our strategies. • Strong Cooperation with Production, Quality, Logistics, R&D, and Sales Team. • Lead continuous raw material-related cost reduction studies. • Price negotiation activities and contract management. • Dealing with raw material-related claims and giving support to the quality team. • Preparing the Monthly Purchasing Index and Management Report for the Direct Group; • Develop the department’s quality system and documentation according to IATF16949 and present for the audits. #Raw Material Purchasing, Weatherstrip, Sealing, Automotive, Procurement, Tier 1, Sourcing, Direct Materials, IATF 16949, C-Parts, ERP Programs ( SAP, MAPICS), Fluent English, Demand Planning, Engineering Plastics, Tool, CAPEX, Reporting.
