I hold a PhD in Finance from Anadolu University, Türkiye, where I graduated with distinction. My doctoral research focused on systemic risk in the Turkish financial system, utilizing the SRISK methodology developed by Nobel Laureate Prof. Robert Engle and Prof. Christian Brownlees. Prior to that, I earned both my Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Accounting and Finance from IUG, achieving top honors in both programs. My master's thesis explored the role of electronic auditing in enhancing audit quality across Gaza’s audit offices. Professionally, I bring over a decade of experience in finance, procurement, and international trade. I served as Chief Procurement Officer at the Presidency of the Council of Ministers in Palestine for four years, where I led strategic purchasing initiatives and ensured compliance with financial regulations. Since 2018, I’ve been the Founder and CEO of YatPal Foreign Trading and Real Estate Ltd. in Istanbul, Türkiye, where I specialize in securing competitive deals, managing international transactions, and navigating complex regulatory environments.
