In my role as a Data & Business Intelligence Officer, I support and enhance the Council's data infrastructure to deliver impactful business insights. I manage and maintain a portfolio of applications and tools that enable data integration, analysis, reporting, and visualization. I’m responsible for generating corporate reports, providing socio-economic analysis for strategic planning, and developing low-code solutions and automated dashboards to streamline operations. Additionally, I support business units with system administration, user training, and stakeholder engagement. In my role, I specialize in the creation and maintenance of client investment reports, ensuring accuracy and relevance in financial data representation. I was later involved in the experimental transitioning for some our reports to Power BI, leveraging its capabilities to streamline processes and enhance visualization. By analyzing data meticulously, I uncovered valuable insights that drive informed decision-making for stakeholders. Besides the creation, maintenance and improvement of the current reporting system. My primary responsibility is to work with data and provide meaningful insights to stakeholders through various reports and dashboards that I create as per the requests of the stakeholders or as per the need of the business. Working with clients providing UI and UX design consultations on their existing products and projects, helping them come up with design solutions that follow the principles of design. Designing and creating wireframes, mockups, low fidelity and high fidelity prototypes.
I worked closely with the company's UI/UX designer learning the particulars of how to make the user interface useful and easily understandable. I learned how to implement Jakob Nielsen's 10 Usability Heuristics. I helped create UIs and UI elements using adobe illustrator and adobe XD.
