Habibie Razak is a Professional Engineer/Regional Director with 20+year of experiences. He has been assigned various energy & logistic infrastructure projects in Indonesia consist of gas, LNG, thermal power, all sets of renewable energy, biodiesel plant & transport related projects. Prior to join BlueVisions, SMEC & Tractebel, he was an Energy Project Manager Energy Division Black & Veatch Indonesia with various oversea assignments (China & US). He was BD Professional who won power generation services projects consisted of Owner's Engineer role for one of ultra-super-critical boiler coal fired power plants & several engineering & consultancy services contracts. Prior to work at BVI, he was as Project Manager in various industries from nickel to coal mining, power station & LNG development. He is a Civil Engineer & licensed as Professional Engineer (P.E) by the Institution of Engineers Indonesia since 2010 & since 2015 he was also licensed as ASEAN Chartered Professional Engineer (ACPE) by ASEAN-MRA on Engineering Services and subsequently Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) by Engineers Australia in 2023. Complementing his credentials, he also has been registered as ASEAN Engineer and APEC Engineer. He is an AFEO (ASEAN) Honorary Fellow, Fellow of Engineers Australia (FIEAust) and was also given Engineering Executive (EngExec) Credential by Engineers Australia. The Engineering Executive, or EngExec is a credential that recognises pre-eminent individuals in executive positions who have shown exceptional leadership and talent. His first company was INCO (Now Vale) & started his career as assistant civil engineer in 2003 & became a Project Manager in 2006. His services to Vale including but not limited to mining infrastructure projects such as flyover bridge, warehouse, industrial office, process plant structural work, wet ore stockpiles, port, jetty, etc. He was also involved in construction of 2x60 MW hydroelectric power belongs to PT INCO in 2009. In March 2011 he joined PT Slipform Indonesia a group of Slipform Engineering (HK) Limited as Project Manager. He built 3x60 MW Power Plant & was working on LNG Train 4x0.5 MTPA capacity & 88K m3 LNG storage tank in South Sulawesi, Indonesia. He is now Chairman of Civil Engineering College The Institution of Engineers Indonesia (BKS PII) for this term (2025 - 2028) and was Executive Director of PII Governing Board (2021 - 2024). He has been actively researching, publishing & presenting articles & technical papers related to energy sector including energy transition and decarbonization strategies.
- Prepare future-ready Indonesian civil engineers to contribute to Indonesia national development towards three important milestones; making Indonesia 4.0 in 2030, Golden Indonesia in 2045 and Indonesia NZE in 2060. - Lead BKS PII operation which consist of 4 sectors (energy, transport, water & environment and built environment), one (1) specialization committee and 1 services unit which are managed by respective vice chairman supported by vice secretary, vice treasurer and subsector coordinator. - Lead by example over 50 thousand civil engineers under BKS PII/PII membership. - Chairman of BKS PII is in coordination with PII President.
Assessor for National Engineering Education Accreditation (Profession and Vocational Program)
1. Managing the Indonesia operation and business development for ASEAN Region for Energy related sector/subsectors which consist of sets of Renewable Energy, Energy Transition, Gas & Power and Fuels. 2. Manage SJ brands in Indonesia such as SMEC & RBG for Energy related businesses. 3. P&L responsibility for Energy infrastructure pillar for Indonesia operation. 4. Assigned as Project Director when required.
1. Manage PII Operation including its ninety thousand (90,000) members and report directly to Secretary General of PII. 2. Support the role of PII Central Board for Management of Divisions and Committees, Management of PII Regions and Branches, Executing Bodies, Center for Engineering and Industrial Policy Studies (CEIPS), Independent Accreditation Body and PII organizational/technical/business events within Indonesia, ASEAN and Asia Pacific. 3. Manage the implementation of MRA on Engineers between Engineers Australia (EA) and PII. Achievements: - Increase the PII membership by more than double from previous terms. - Increase the ASEAN Engineering register membership by nearly 2.5 times from previous term. - Increase the number of Indonesian Engineers registered as APEC Engineer by nearly triple from previous terms. - Upgrade on the website to be more user friendly. - Chairman of special taskforce for MRA signing between EA & PII and lead its implementation accordingly. - Establish 9+ PII Oversea Chapters which include Singapore, Malaysia, United States, Kuwait, Australia, New Zealand, People Republic of China, Qatar & Japan. - Established MOU with Chinese Society of Engineers (CSE) on November 2023. The MOU has produced capacity building program for Indonesian and Chinese Engineers through series sessions.
1. Training, education & development with regard to engineer's professions in Indonesia 2. Provide guidance to all Professional Engineers for the implementation of Continuous Professional Development (CPD). CPD report shall be submitted by PE every year for 5 years term as the requirement to renew the PE license. 3. Support the implementation of new Government Regulation PP 25/2019 to extend the mandate of the Law No. 11/2014 regarding engineer's profession. 4. Be part of APEC Engineer Register Monitoring Committee under the Institution of Engineers, Indonesia (PII)
