As a lead mechanical design engineer at ASELSAN, my role entails designing the mechanical elements of electronic communication devices and integrating electro-mechanical packaging solutions for datalink, radiolink devices and antennas operating across different platforms. I oversee the entire process, from design conception to production and assembly, as well as testing and prototyping activities.
Cell, particle sensing and flow rate detection via microwave resonators
For Mechanical Engineering Design I-II (ME481-ME482) courses of Bilkent University Mechanical Engineering Department, I served as a teaching assistant. As an assistant, my duty was coordinating senior mechanical engineering students for completing their graduation projects successfully.
Under the supervision of Assoc. Prof. Barbaros Çetin, I mainly worked on microfluidics & lab-on-a-chip technologies. As a research thesis, my aim was to design, simulate and do experiments of an AC electroosmotic flow based microfluidic mixer. For this purporse, design by taking manufacturing constraints into consideration is realized first, then, computational modeling by FEM tool is presented. For computation, AC electric field, velocity field and concentration field are solved separately. As a final step, experiments are conducted.
As an intern, manufacturing tools and processes are observed and production line of parts starting from manufacturing to quality control stages are followed.
