Dr. H. David Sherman is a Professor of Accounting at Northeastern University’s D’Amore-McKim School of Business, where he focuses on financial reporting, corporate governance, and performance measurement. He has published extensively on Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA), fair value accounting, and strategic cost management, and served as an academic fellow at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. Dr. Sherman currently sits on the boards of several publicly traded companies, advising on audit committees and overseeing financial oversight. He serves as Audit Committee Chair for Xiao-I Corp. (Nasdaq: AIXI) and NUVVE (Nasdaq: NVVE), ensuring transparent disclosures and robust governance practices.
