I am serving in the role of the product owner for the test team in a Virtual PLC software development project at Siemens. In this capacity, I analyze customer requirements to define the test strategy and plan, and work in close collaboration with the test team. Effectively managing the test processes for the project team and maximizing product quality are among my top priorities. Throughout the software development lifecycle, I carry out tasks such as creating test scenarios, ensuring test automation, evaluating test results, and reporting. As the product owner for the test team, I leverage my technical expertise and project management skills to contribute to enhancing the product quality.
As a system test engineer I am responsible for effectively interacting with departments regarding software defects and functionality issues, working closely to develop innovative solutions. I identify and track defects and support developers in resolving problems by testing. My duties also include conducting regression testing, analyzing results and submitting observations to other scrum teams as well as designing test plans in line with the ISTQB test principles. This position demands to have good knowledge on HIL/SIL model simulation on MATLAB/Simulink environment, HW behavior of PLCs, communication interfaces uses TCP/IP protocol too. Finally I operate as a quality manager in the project internally. As a quality manager my responsibility is to check the static code analysis for our test automation codes, scripts and batch files.
For 6 months I had an additional role as a scrum master. My role required guiding Agile principles and facilitation skills to ensure team is working in Agile mindset and utilizing Scrum practices.
Assisted with engineering calculations, design drawings and field visits to observe production progress of electronic cards.
Learned about selection of complete hardware and design, including development of network architectures for SIMATIC PLC, HMI and SCADA systems.
