I started my service in the Turkish Naval Forces Command in 1992 as a Damage Control Petty Officer. I served at sea for 14 years in various floating units of the Naval Forces. In 1995, I participated in the construction and delivery process of the TCG Barbaros Frigate at the Hamburg Blohm&Voss shipyard for one year. I served on the frigates TCG Yıldırım, TCG Turgutreis, and TCG Giresun. I served as the head of the fire center for 2 years at the Gazimagosa Naval Command in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. I worked as a Damage Control Petty Officer for 7 years at the Aksaz/Marmaris Special Training Center Command fire center. I served as the head of the Standard and Technical Research Section of the Internal Resources Research Branch at the Inventory Control Center Command for 3 years. I worked as a Fire Training Petty Officer in the Auxiliary Class Ships Team Group at the Yıldızlar Surface Training Center Command. I retired voluntarily in 2018. From 2019 until the delivery date, I worked at Sedef Shipyard Inc. I was involved in the construction process and the execution of port/sea trials of the TCG ANADOLU project.I served as the warranty officer during the delivery of the Scandica ferry, owned by Stena Line, which underwent a lengthening operation at Sedef Shipyard. I also participated in the construction activities of the Milgem I-class frigate project.(TCG İZMİT and TCG KARADENİZ) I actively took part in the STW-HAT-SAT processes. I left Sedef Shipyard Inc. in March 2026. As of June 2026, I am working as a fire, damage control, and machinery systems specialist within the scope of the offshore patrol vessel project(TCG SİVRİHİSAR) which is under construction at Özata shipyard.
