Analyst supporting Community Development Banking team within Commercial Real Estate
o Conducted and presented recommendation of three clients with assets ranging from $19MM to $170MM, providing comprehensive reviews of their backgrounds and financials for loan origination process o Led research on sustainable development initiatives within community development banking, examining the impact of tax credits, financing subsidies, green building methods, and new underwriting considerations on the Bank. o Assisted the credit team with initial project underwriting, including the creation of Credit Approval Packages (CAPs) that summarized sponsor history, financials, deal terms, risks, and market analysis, and completed annual financial reviews to assess client and project performance.
o Created a financial underwriting template to gauge LIHTC qualification and be used in the analysis of proposed multi-family developments to gauge project feasibility and assess financing gap o Used LIHTC analysis to analyze four proposed multi-family developments (300-600 units) and provided a strategic recommendation for financing to commercial team o Supported commercial team by managing three applicants for residential and retail properties including review of personal financial statements, business plans, and debt obligations and presented recommendations to leadership
