I'm a nursing student at Washington State University, also working on a business minor. My experience as a caregiver taught me a lot about providing compassionate care, and my time as a receptionist and barista helped me become organized and great with people. I'm also passionate about giving back through my volunteer work with World Comp Kenya and by helping my peers succeed as the Academic Excellence Chair for my sorority, Kappa Kappa Gamma. I am focused on my goal of becoming a Registered Nurse and am seeking opportunities to build my clinical skills and gain hands-on experience in the healthcare field.
Led academic initiatives within the chapter by organizing study sessions, providing resources, and fostering accountability to support members’ scholastic success. Collaborated with chapter leadership and campus services to promote a culture of academic achievement.
Worked as a Sales Associate and Front Desk Rep, boosting subscription sign-ups and earning commissions through excellent customer service and effective communication.
As a receptionist at Electric Boat, I was the first person people saw, so I learned to be great with communication and organization. I managed calls and people visiting the office in a fast-paced setting. This job taught me how to be professional, pay close attention to details, and work well with others. These are all skills that will help me as I pursue a career in nursing.
