In charge of overseeing all clinic duties, which include, but are limited to: planning, leading, and facilitating board meetings, keeping in contact with our medical director, undergraduates, and medical students, and being informed and taking charge of everything clinic-related.
Empowered patients at risk for diabetes by helping them improve their lifestyle choices with consideration of their cultural lifestyles and current health standings as a part of the Diabetes Empowerment Program Specialty Service. Organize and facilitate projects such as educational outreach to the Filipinx community.
Facilitated conversations between limited English proficient patients and healthcare providers. Providing culturally sensitive care and support to our patients.
Assist physical therapists and a chiropractor with patient care and proper documentation. Patient care includes a partial body weight treadmill and exercise equipment. Performing tasks with the following modalities: ultrasound, hot & cold therapy (game ready), electrical stimulation, paraffin, and blood flow restriction therapy.
