2021 - 2023: Researched the applications of inverse reinforcement learning in robot navigation under Dr. Joydeep Biswas to create more robust and efficient navigation systems that can leverage the expertice of human demostrations to have robots elect to choose more semantically correct paths. Lead the AMRL submission of the 2022 ICRA BARN Dataset Navigation Challenge; won 1st place. 2024: Developed novel Spatiotemporal Graph Transformer to predict the motion and trajectory of multi-class multi-modal agents in urban environments.

Researched novel ways to augment robot navigation through hyper-parameter tuning under Dr. Xuesu Xiao Developed neural network to understand RGB camera and LiDAR data to choose the best parameters for a traditional DWA motion planner.
