1973 : started as member of the Inside Sales Department 1975-1983 : in charge of the local and international engineering companies in Belgium (mainly power generation, petrochemicals, pharmaceuticals) 1977-2013 : Head of the Workshop (including maintenance on site, gasket cutting) 1980-1985 : Head of the Sealing department : in charge of the substitution from asbestos fibre gaskets to non asbestos, including about 140 seminars given at customer's site, on this subject. Contribution to the ISO certification (for the technical procedures). 1985-2013 : Head of the Special Techniques Department (control valves, control loops, heat exchangers, safety valves, level gauges, steam traps, desuperheaters, turbine bypass valves ...). Focus : steam applications. Also more than 40 seminars on steam orientated products. 2000-2003 : Implementation of several new product lines (as a result of the incorporation of the Sogefiltres company in 2000) Department's name changed into Steam & Concept as, over the years, have been developping industrial turnkey projects including advice, engineering, prefab, start-up. 2013-up to now : retired but still active (partial time) at Klinger Sogefiltres as technical trainer, advisor, for Inside and Outside Sales Teams. Key account visits for specific high duty control valves, desuperheaters and bypass valves.
