B’ZEOS is a European blue-tech company (Swiss holding company with an operating subsidiary in Barcelona) pioneering seaweed-based sustainable packaging solutions designed to replace fossil plastics. Within the packaging value chain, B’ZEOS operates as a thermoplastic pellet producer (compounder), developing SUPD-compliant, seaweed-based pellets fully compatible with existing industrial production lines, enabling plug-and-play adoption across food and non-food applications. My role includes: - Defining company vision, strategy, and business development for seaweed-based sustainable packaging - Leading fundraising, investor relations, and strategic financing discussions - Negotiating contracts and managing relationships with clients, industrial partners, and pilot customers - Building and leading multidisciplinary teams across R&D, operations, and business development - Ensuring business alignment of pilot and laboratory activities across Europe, from validation to scale-up - Initiating strategic partnerships globally and supporting public funding and grant initiatives
World Health Organization/Polio Operations and Research (WHO/POL) is launching a pilot in selected countries in Africa to map every built-up structure in specific areas which are identified as being at high-risk for polio outbreaks. Each built-up structure represents a habitat where people are potentially living. As such, high resolution imagery which maps built-up structures can be used as a tool for strategic planning both before and after outbreak response campaigns, as well as to strengthen and update existing microplans. Project tasks - Establish a workflow between AGO and GIS server. - Support the Documentation process on the various steps involved in the digitization project cycle - Support the planning and coordination with GISCorps for the digitization project. - Be on standby to support troubleshooting during the critical phases of the project involving volunteers on the specified digitization dates. - Support the Upload and maintain the grids in the gis server - Support jointly the creation of grids - Participate on teleconference with various partners on the digitization project. - Support the maintenance of the web application and enhancements of the web app based on the feedback from the participants. - Support establishing a process for the quality assurance and quality control of the digitized datasets. - Jointly support the creation of help page for the digitizers and validators on FAQs for digitizing and validation process. - Support the adoption of existing available tools in the market for volunteers to be registered for the digitization work.(google spreadsheet, skydrive etc) - Closely work with identified GISCorps Core Committee and the identified volunteers and partners on the preplanning process. - Jointly work to establish a methodology and workflow for identifying priority grids using available datasets like landscan, facebook, world pop etc.

Responsible for delivering GIS projects on time and to budget - Utilise mapping and database software to create and deliver maps, data set, customized Web maps and presentations on both a scheduled and ad hoc basis; - Analyse raw data, drawing conclusions & developing recommendations - Oil Spill and Iceberg/Floes Monitoring, Wind Farm location, Seabed Analysis, etc.; - Create various models of processes (Python, Model Builder) - Support various Statoil groups with the creation of WebApp (Oil Spill and Iceberg/Floes Monitoring, Wind farm infrastructures, Metocean); - Standardisation - redesign of the corporate marine infrastructure database and of the SSDM; - Maintain Spatial Data layers and create custom data sets for stakeholders; - Create and maintain SDE Layers in Arc GIS and Arc Catalog; - Provide user support in the form of one-on-one help, learning sessions, and formal training; - Analyse data for quality control, purchases and sales, and other business needs; - Optimise methods for researching and retrieving data for the geoscientists and data management team.
