Manage resources used to support Flight Operations associated with development, test, and production acceptance of high performance tactical aircraft (F-15 and F/A-18). Maintain qualifications, currency, and proficiency as a weapons system officer (WSO) in the F-15 and F/A-18. Report to Chief Test Pilot - TACAIR.
Hired in as assistant engineer Human Factors; moved through promotions to engineer, and lead engineer over six years time. Involved in crew station design consultation on the F/A-18 and YF-23 programs. Also involved as subject matter expert in the PIlot's Associate research and development program; in which advanced concepts in cockpit controls and displays management were developed and tested.
