Product life cycle management of Life Science Business (LSB) products/product lines for o Clinical Diagnostic and Medical Device consumables for Mass Spectrometry analysis (Kits and Reagents) o Liquid Handling Plastic consumables (MCA96 Tips, MCA384 Tips, Troughs, Secondary Tubes for clinical systems)
Development of innovation strategies related to reagents business Support in the product development support of LSB projects related to the release of a new in-vitro Mass Spectrometry diagnostics kits
Main role is aligned around driving the Bioscience business growth in supporting the European Bioscience Division in developing the Molecular Biology, Cellular Culture Systems and Sample Prep Business Main responsabilities included : - Analyze, understand, interpret and give a clear picture of the European Molecular Biology, Cellular Culture and Sample Prep Market including market share, market dynamics, trends, current and future needs, threats and opportunities. Communication of this information clearly within the European Sales Organization and the SBU product management. - Ensure that market information is translated into identifying new opportunities and partnerships in order to grow the business - Develop sales strategies, launch packages, sales support tools, market communication campaigns and training programs inside specific project teams - Act as an European consultant providing field support to customers in partnerships with the sales team and technical team.
Main responsibilities, aligned towards driving pro-actively the Bioscience Business Growth in Europe, included -Driving and tracking of customers automation support needs and requirements together with a focused monitoring of the relevant lab automation and instrumentation market in Europe. -Initializing, developing and establishing of regional and European relationships with the lab automation and instrument companies. -Supporting automation related key initiatives and requests from Product Management, European Field Marketing and Automation Engineering group -Developing focussed marketing communication programs and selling tools to support the European Sales Strategies and Action Plans -Managing and coaching the Automation Support Specialists
Main responsibilities included : - Building up an European Automation Support group. - Developing, adapting and installing customer/instrument specific automation protocols for Millipore Genomics, Proteomics and Drug Discovery products and linked applications. - Understand Life Science products and related applications to support and adapt successfully specific protocols on automation systems - Initializing, developing and establishing of regional and European relationships with the lab automation and instrument companies (eg Tecan, Beckman, Perkin Elmer, Hamilton, Caliper, Cybio, Eppendorf,…).
The work consisted of following specific responsibilities: i. Profound knowledge and training of Beckman Robotics and Instrumentation Systems like the Biomek2000, the BiomekFX, the Multimek and the CEQ2000 ii. Demonstration of the above mentioned systems towards customers as well as on-site training of those systems at customers site iii. Dedicated presentations, through workshops and seminars, of those systems in function of the needs of the customers iv. Analysis of the automation market in the Benelux, as well thorough information gathering and development of specific strategies towards the existing competition linked to those instruments
