Incoming Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD) student at Midwestern University with a Bachelor of Science in Developmental and Family Sciences and a minor in Psychology from Purdue University. I am passionate about helping individuals maximize independence, participation, and quality of life through evidence-based, client-centered care. My experiences include occupational therapy observation in inpatient, outpatient, and pediatric settings, where I gained insight into interdisciplinary collaboration and individualized treatment approaches. Beyond healthcare, I have held leadership roles in student organizations and developed experience in marketing, community outreach, and customer service, strengthening my communication, teamwork, and organizational skills. As I begin my doctoral training, I look forward to expanding my clinical knowledge, advocating for meaningful participation in everyday life, and making a positive impact on the individuals and communities I serve.
Shadowed occupational therapists in an outpatient clinic that worked with kids. I got to observe evaluations, treatment sessions, and how therapists track progress over time. I learned about sensory-based activities, motor skill development, ADL training, and upper-extremity rehab. This experience helped me understand how an outpatient clinic runs and how OTs support people of all ages in becoming more independent.
Observed occupational therapists in an inpatient care setting, gaining exposure to patient evaluations, treatment planning, and therapeutic interventions. Developed a deeper understanding of OT practice, interdisciplinary communication, and patient-centered care while completing shadowing hours toward OT school preparation.
Outpatient OT shadowing in an adult clinic. Observed treatment planning, interventions, and patient progress while working alongside physical therapists in a collaborative rehab setting.

We strive to destigmatize mental health challenges through peer support, education, and outreach initiatives and promote inclusivity, understanding, and self-discovery.
Assisted in coordinating and executing wish-granting processes for children with critical illnesses, supporting the mission delivery team by tracking wish progress and providing timely updates. I managed databases, maintaining organized records of wish children and their specific needs and preferences. Additionally, I sent and tracked wish forms using Salesforce, ensuring all necessary documentation was completed and returned promptly.
