I have been practising User Research in the industrial context for almost 13 years now, before which I was practising Cognitive Psychology research for several years in the academic context. I have experience in running a variety of projects in the retail, automotive, digital platforms and software development sectors of companies like Siemens and HERE Technologies. I am always keen to pick up new skills and apply existing knowledge to new challenges and new industrial contexts. Currently in addition to conducting quant and qual research I am also working with different teams to enable better communication towards research and improved roadmaps that include iterative and regular feedback coming either directly from the customer or from the end users of the products. I also have good experience in effectively onboarding new researchers to the company’s research operations and processes and guiding them through company processes. Additionally, I have also worked in both Scrum and Kanban processes and am quite comfortable in breaking down projects into biteable sizes to enable either of these processes. Going forward in my career, I would want to continue to work in creative teams that are highly motivated to include user and customer feedback iteratively in their product development lifecycles.

Developing a framework for user experience unification of SINUMERIK Integrate for Production softwares from Siemens AG.
o Applied Human Centered Design methods in development of an internal software tool. o Created multiple posters to ensure common understanding of usability frameworks and SINUMERIK Integrate for Production softwares to different stakeholders. o Helped in visualizing and concluding important learnings of data for easy understanding of different stakeholders. o Worked throughout under the Agile/Scrum framework for product development.
Assisted in data collection for eye-tracking experiments on figure-ground effects in human vision/cognitive psychology.
Finished my master’s thesis titled ‘Intrinsic Dynamics of Perceptual Organization’ under the supervision of Dr. Narayanan Srinivasan. Here, I investigated the neural correlates for the perceptual switch of figure-ground regions in visually presented bi-stable stimuli, using EEG/ERP as my research tool.
