About

I help organisations modernise complex systems and move them to the cloud — whether that means migrating a legacy .NET back-office to Azure, integrating third-party payment providers, or architecting solutions that need to last the next decade. Over 25 years I've delivered enterprise projects across finance (ING), public sector (ITLB), and telco (Mobistar/Orange, Belgacom), always taking end-to-end ownership from initial architecture through to production. What I bring to an engagement: • Deep Azure expertise: cloud infrastructure design, migration, Key Vault, AAD, DevOps, Terraform • Full .NET stack: from legacy WinForms and WCF through to ASP.NET Core and WinUI3 • SQL Server: Always Encrypted, CDC, performance tuning, complex migrations • Enterprise integration: REST/SOAP APIs, payment providers, eID authentication, government interfaces • Practical problem-solving on complex legacy environments — I've seen most things • AI-augmented delivery — GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, and agentic workflows integrated into day-to-day development Available for project-based or longer-term consulting engagements.
