•Optical development of pressed glass reflectors in house •Guide the whole supplier process from optical development till releasing the final reflector •Develop reflectors for new products (HID, Halogen)
•Production planning •Problem solving of production equipment •Implementation of new production projects to increase capacity •Improve the cooling efficiency of the fermentation rooms to increase the acid yield •Setting up a maintenance program for all production equipment together with the production supervisors to keep production equipment up-to-date •Daily follow-up of fermentation process parameters (dosing of the different chemical components for addition to the melasse for getting the optimal acid yield) •Attend meetings with R&D, mechanical engineering, maintenance, purchase department
•Daily calculation of line efficiency and down-time •Analyze down-time causes (problem solving) •Define, evaluate and execute actions to reduce down-time in teams (strong teambuilding between production, process, quality, engineering and maintenance) •Optimize hot rolling mill parameters (cooling fluid, hot rolling reduction steps, milling speed, …) in close cooperation with process engineer •Determine and implement ideas to reduce pick-up during the hot rolling process
