Leading the implementation of a brand new production building (High Containment) including the ramp up of the Operations. Commercial manufacturing of a high volume OEB 4 product in close cooperation with an external customer.
Leader of the Operations team, their development and its activities with special focus on supporting Co-Development activities, clinical and commercial supplies, contract development incl. clinical supplies and launch of new Pfizer products (e.g. oncology drugs) to the market place. During my time the continuous manufacturing technology was implemented in record time launching the first product on the Portable Continuous Miniature Modular system (PCMM).
Leader of the Production Services Group (Pfizer Global Supply, Freiburg) responsible for all Site qualification and validation activities including (over 15) New Product Launches as well as internal and external product transfers of solid dosage forms – all performed successfully & in or even ahead of time. This role includes the further development of efficient manufacturing processes, generation of Master Batch Records, equipment qualifications and the presentation of GMP documents in front of the different Health Authorities / inspectors. In addition of my responsibility as Deputy Head of Production I was leading Site projects like the implementation of a segregated area and the extension of the production building in order to realize the continuous manufacturing technology (CMT) ideas at the site.
