Hepsiburada leverages my expertise as a Senior Network Security Engineer to enhance application and network security. Recent contributions include Cloud WAF configurations and benchmarking against industry standards. • Supported application and network security of the Turkish Airlines and AJet services on Cloud WAF solutions and Bot, L7 DDoS mitigations. • Documented cloud WAF security configs of the Turkish Airlines and its sister companies and benchmarked security configs against industry best practices based on my experience. • Delivered lectures to team on Cloud WAF and participated in on-premise WAF studies and workshops. • Participated in demo workshops of the various security solutions and vendors.
• Created, managed and updated Akamai security configurations for Hepsiburada. • Configured new Akamai security policies to strengthen security across hepsiburada.com and its 200+ subdomains. • Delivered lectures on Akamai's security capabilities to various teams as required. • Provided support to development teams in securing Hepsiburada APIs • Created and maintained separate documents for Custom, WAF, DoS, Bot security rule definitions as well as network/client lists on Akamai for reporting purposes. • Monitored, analyzed and reported on weekly traffic of nearly 7 billion requests on hepsiburada.com. • Pursued ongoing learning of cloud technologies, focusing on Google Cloud security features to enhance security measures on Hepsiburada's cloud infrastructure.
• Provided support to development of third-party applications for McDonald's Türkiye Restaurants, catering to call center and restaurant employees. • Supported the integration of McDonald's backend services developed for Yemeksepeti, Trendyol Yemek and Getir. • Assisted in the development of the McDonald's Delivery Service (MDS) application to address integration and transactional issues encountered by McDonald's employees on Pos6 kiosk machines.
