I graduated from NOVA School of Science and Technology at Nova University of Lisbon with a degree in Chemical and Biochemical Engineering. During my studies, I acquired diverse competencies related to the chemical and biological industries, data analysis, predictive modeling, and process optimization. For my master's thesis, I specialized in developing techniques to forecast thermal efficiency decay in the heat exchangers of Sines Refinery using predictive models. My first professional experience was as an intern in the polymer industry, specifically in injection molding at Plastar, Lda, in Águeda, Portugal. I worked as a logistics and production engineer while also developing tools for cost analysis of part production. After my internship, I continued in the same role at Plastar. In 2019, I joined Eco-Oil, a micro-refinery in Setúbal, as the head of the industrial laboratory. In addition to managing the laboratory, I initiated several engineering projects aimed at continuously improving refinery operations. As a project engineer, I contributed to equipment sizing, P&ID development, automation, and energy optimization of the refinery. By mid-2022, I transitioned to Mi-GSO to work in the automotive sector as a Project Management Officer (PMO) consultant. In this role, I supported Stellantis in CKD projects, overseeing planning and procurement. My main responsibilities included managing and developing plans for out-of-batch and serial phases, as well as handling out-of-batch procurement. On a personal level, I consider myself a resilient, autonomous, and proactive individual, always eager to learn and take on new challenges. I thrive in team environments, work well under pressure, and approach problems with a solution-oriented mindset. I am fluent in Portuguese and French and possess a professional level of English.
Responsible for the planning management for a CKD project in the Asean region. Responsible for the out of batch procurement to the same CKD project.
Assist in the energetic revamping project of the refinery, in equipment sizing, development of P&ID drawings, tank requalification, automation projects and procurement. Responsible for the development of the automation project for the biological waste water treatment, with the aim to deliver a fully automated process.
Managing stocks, leading personnel, development of protocols for scale-up experiences and laboratory equipment maintenance.
First steps in process engineering. Understanding of the production variables, and the ability to optimize them. Calculation and presentation of budgets for new projects. Production costs calculations. Managing one injection molding project. Team Leader in process conditions optimization. (Planning optimization, quality optimization, OEE calculation.)
Internship as a Project Engineer with focus in the logistical improvement, and the oversee of a injection molding project, from the first sample production into the standardization. Introduction to the development of a cost production tool.
