About

Guillaume is an entrepreneur and private investor in early-stage startups, and was recently Managing Partner at BXVentures, a climate tech fund. Prior to BXVentures, in 2016 Guillaume cofounded Nalo, the top two robo-advisor in France, sold to Apicil Group after seven years with 400m€ in assets under management and 20k clients. This entrepreneurial experience followed a 10-year career in fixed income capital markets, beginning with Lehman Brothers in London in 2003 as a credit structurer developing esoteric investment products for institutional investors. From 2008 Guillaume became a credit risk and Basel III regulatory standards expert for major international bank clients. In 2009 he moved with Nomura to Paris, where he managed client relationships with the larger French banks' credit portfolio and liquidity management functions. Guillaume is and has been an elected board member of the Glénans sailing school, General Secretary of the Glénans Avenir foundation, and Treasurer of the Chicago Booth French Alumni Club. He is a 2015 MBA graduate from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. He is a CFA charterholder since 2010. He received his Master in Physics with First Class Honours from Imperial College London in 2003, with a year abroad at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology in Germany. Multi-lingual and a French/American dual-national, Guillaume grew up in New York, Chicago, Tokyo and Paris. He is a seasoned world traveller (first unaccompanied flight at age 4), is passionate about sailing in all its forms, and holds French federal instructor licenses for both dinghies and cruise yachts. He hopes one day to sail around the world.
