Born in the tropics of Tahiti, I grew up with a deep awareness of water as a precious, finite resource. Early on, I recognized the global importance of its management and accessibility. My first encounter with a geophysicist didn’t happen behind a 30” monitor... but in my schoolyard, where a Ground Penetrating Radar survey for groundwater detection was underway. This experience sparked my curiosity and set me on a path to leave my island and pursue geophysics studies in Strasbourg. My first professional chapter began in Scotland with TotalEnergies, where I joined an exploration team driven by a shared passion for geosciences. Inspired to deepen my knowledge, I secured sponsorship from Equinor to attend IFP School, leading to an internship in Oslo at Equinor's headquarters. Graduating amidst a volatile oil market, I spent the next ten months traveling before resuming my job search. Eventually, I landed a VIE role with TotalEnergies in Qatar, transitioning from exploration to reservoir geophysics. Immersed in inversion, classification, SOR wells, and round-the-clock drilling operations, I discovered a new and exciting side of geosciences. This unforgettable experience evolved into a full-time role in March 2019, when I joined the Time-Depth Conversion & Geomodelling team in Pau, building expertise over four and a half enriching years. In September 2023, I embarked on a new chapter, diving into two fresh fields: Data Science and Renewable Energies. I hope to be seen as courageous, eager to learn, and committed to understanding all aspects of the energy sector. While I’m excited to explore new directions, geosciences remain close to my heart.

      As a Data Scientist in R&D "Power" line, I contribute to the Company’s journey toward net zero by 2050, focusing on analytical projects that span Solar, Wind, Hybrid & Storage, and Distributed Energy Resources R&D Programs. More specifically, my work consisted in describing the main sedimentary fairway systems in the basin and their evolution from Early Oligocene to recent times as well as setting some of the giant oil discoveries in a sedimentological context.

The objective was to add value to the seismic noise data recorded, unused until then, to better constrain Météo-France wave modeling and elaborate routines to reduce the costs induced by observation stations.
