Managed Azure SQL instance in Azure Cloud following best practices like capacity planning for the correct sizing of Databases with vCore vs DTUs and the type of installation. - Created automation for more than 70 servers for Health checks using Python, thus saving time to check all servers and predict major issues before happening - Supported Tableau from server installation to maintain the workbooks and data sources and worked with Data Analysis teams, plus automation using Python Tableau API. - Appointed to be the Database Administrator to onboard and support the MySQL(MariaDB) AWS RDS, Amazon AWS Cloud, and Tableau Server of a newly acquired/merged company. - Planned and executed the upgrade of MariaDB version 10.2 to 10.6 in Amazon RDS.

- For a Banking/Financial client with a critical business, I’ve executed an Oracle RAC Database Upgrade, from Version 11g to 12c using Dataguard with near-zero downtime. - Reduced the cost of networking latency and cost per month for a client using Oracle Redo Log Compression on their Active Dataguard infrastructure and created scripting automation tasks for repetitive activities using Python and Shell Scripts. - Performed In-depth AWR and statistical analysis to solve edge performance tuning cases, like reducing the latency and response time to milliseconds for a Mobile Application by Tuning queries. Performed administration tasks for Databases such as upgrading Oracle Database, implementing RMAN Backups, Oracle RAC, Dataguard, and configuration of Always on for SQL server 2014. - Worked with MongoDB implementing sharding and replicas for an extensive data auditing application that required fast response and huge data loads. - Reduced the monthly cost of a client’s Amazon AWS RDS Cloud infrastructure by Tuning Oracle Queries, making it possible to downgrade the amount of memory and CPU provisioned in the cloud.
Worked as a Database Administrator (DBA) on Database Deploy, Design and Migration. Performance Tuning on Applications SQL alongside Support Teams and Developers. Worked with a wide range of in house applications, such as manufacturing, ecommerce, sales, corporate and financial systems, with databases varying from 300GB up to 50TB of size. Supported more than 1000 production Databases within Dell’s global infrastructure. Configured a wide range of Active Dataguard for critical Databases. Configured Oracle Flashback technologies to reinstate the primary database without a full backup and restore in case of Primary Database loss. Worked on a global 24/7 technical support database team that supported the Oracle Database infrastructure within the company following ITIL and Agile methodologies for change management. Proactively monitored incidents and performance of databases during Black Friday weekend. Performed a Database migration from version 11.1g to 11.2g with near-zero downtime, with the size of more than 4TB of size that supported a Sales/Billing application.
