Guido Consoli is a LA based film composer, multi-instrumentalist and sound designer from Buenos Aires. Received the prestigious Best Score Award at the Venice Short Film Awards in 2022 for the captivating and emotionally resonant musical composition. Collaborated closely with the creative team to craft a powerful and immersive musical experience that complemented the film's narrative and enhanced its emotional impact. Produced the project, overseeing various aspects of production, ensuring smooth coordination, and maintaining the artistic vision of the film. Showcased versatility by showcasing acting skills in a memorable role as the hairy boxer, adding depth and authenticity to the character. The film tells the story of a former bare-knuckle boxer grappling with the effects of brain trauma while finding solace and healing through the power of music. Inspired by the sights and sounds of Los Angeles, the story of Scatterbrain unfolded during evening walks, observing the contrast between people living in their cars and families gathered around dinner tables, with the haunting backdrop of coyotes howling at distant sirens. Crafted a musical moment featuring a violinist playing with her windows open, creating a magical and impactful experience that aims to inspire, calm, and invite others to stop and listen. Through the film, aimed to convey a simple yet profound story about a scavenger's struggle for survival in both the external world and the depths of his own mind, evoking themes of resilience, self-discovery, and the power of music to transcend challenges.
Proudly served as the Film Composer, Re-Recording Mixer, Orchestrator, Sound Designer, and Pianist for the experimental short film, Echo. The film delves into the depths of the human condition, offering a unique perspective through the juxtaposition of gritty archival footage and original music. Composed and orchestrated the original music, creating a sonic landscape that resonates with the film's themes and evokes emotional responses from the audience. Meticulously crafted the sound design, utilizing a wide range of techniques and effects to enhance the immersive experience and capture the essence of the visuals. As the Re-Recording Mixer, ensured the seamless integration of sound elements, including dialogue, music, and atmospheric sounds, achieving a cohesive and impactful audio mix. Also showcased my skills as a pianist, bringing the power and beauty of live piano performances to enrich the film's soundtrack. Served as an Artistic Producer, Composer, Arranger, and Keyboardist for DE CRONOPIOS, an Argentinean rock band that merges elements of progressive psychedelic, jazz, punk, hard rock, symphonic, and folklore. Collaborated with a talented lineup consisting of Damian Benitez on bass, Federico Benitez on guitar, and Sebastian Abt on drums, to create a unique and diverse musical experience. Contributed to the band's debut album 'Olum,' released in 2012, which featured experimental compositions showcasing the use of synthesizers, effects pedals, and sampling techniques. Led the production and artistic direction, ensuring that the band's vision was translated into captivating and innovative musical arrangements. Showcased DE CRONOPIOS' music across the country, performing in theaters and nightclubs, while incorporating visually immersive elements through the use of projectors. Embraced constant change and exploration, constantly surprising the audience with new elements and additions to the live shows. Drew inspiration for the album from the Selknams rituals, which took place in the South Argentinian region of Tierra del Fuego, offering an eclectic and unique musical journey that pays homage to the pre-colonial heritage of the region.

Collaborated with music/life partners to experiment and fuse their contrasting musical dispositions, resulting in a unique and captivating sound. Leveraged deep musical roots from the Buenos Aires underground rock scene, bringing a vintage synth and keyboard expertise, along with skillful string arrangement compositions. Contributed as a versatile keyboardist and guitarist, infusing diverse musical influences ranging from psychedelic to reggae, americana to electro-pop. Co-wrote melodious lyrics that explored themes of longing, self-exploration, and mysticism, creating a captivating and thought-provoking musical experience. Orchestrated the production of the band's debut EP, "Moonlight," which featured contributions from over 16 musicians representing 8 different countries. Released "Moonlight" in fall 2020, captivating listeners with its textured, groovy, and reflective ambiance, immersing them in the subtleties of the human experience.
