    I worked on an interdisciplinary EU-project named HAPTEX. Its main goal was to develop a complete virtual reality system for visual and haptic interaction with virtual textiles. My contribution to the project was the development of an integrated software system which was able compute the gross mechanical forces from numerically simulated fabric in haptic realtime (approx 1ms). http://haptex.miralab.unige.ch/
