• Established a standard methodology and strategy to execute and manage different types of new product introduction (NPI), process development and product transfers into the Costa Rica facility. Consolidated a cross functional team capable of managing multiple product introductions from four different Philips Divisions and third party manufacturers from around the world. • Responsible of extended project life cycle by executing the product transfers from the early development of business cases for new divisions through knowledge transfer and production systems definition, ramp up and stabilization during the first 3-6 months after product validation.
Responsible for operations start up as well as production ramp up, including the inclusion of silicone molding technology into the Costa Rica facility. Responsible for Engineering and Production teams on a rapidly growing operation.
Introduce a new business division into Costa Rica starting from Government negotiations, building remodelation and process introduction. Manage all administration of critical systems and real estate of the current operation in Costa Rica.
Responsible for all activities related to manufacturing engineering, including transfer activities as well as manufacturing sustaining activities.
Sr. Supervisor for the New Products Introduction department. Certified PMP with extensive project management experience in Medical Device transfer projects and new products introduction.
