Oversee all of the company’s litigation, investigation, arbitration, and similar matters. Responsibilities include strategy development, coordinating outside counsel teams, and guiding internal stakeholders through the litigation process. Support the company’s movement into prediction markets (FCM, DCO, DCM), including preparing regulatory filings, corresponding with the CFTC/NFA, and counseling the business on related strategic and tactical matters. Provide company-wide counseling in light of existing and potential litigation threats. Represent the company in sensitive external engagements with private parties and government entities.
Led matters responding to government investigations and informal inquiries. Responsibilities included developing response strategies, leading fact development, coordinating legal strategy with business partners, and managing large outside counsel teams. Engaged proactively with regulators, including federal agencies and state attorneys general. Partnered closely with product, policy, communications, and similar internal partners. Worked closely with litigation teams.
