Currently, responsible for Red Sea Gateway Terminals' global investments and portfolio expansion through organic developments and acquisitions. Prior, was responsible for ICTSI's Africa investments closing deals totaling $325 million. Earlier, spent 6 years with A. P. Moller - Maersk, key roles being with Maersk Line in the South Asia regional office in Mumbai and making Sub Saharan Africa port investments with APM Terminals in The Hague. Other professional experience includes being responsible for new investments with Tuscan Ventures, a private equity firm focused on making PE placements in transportation and logistics infrastructure in Asia and KPMG with the responsibility for their transportation practice in India leading multiple consulting assignments - mainly private equity, M&A and policy lobbying.

This entrepreneurial role involved the setting up of the Africa regional office for ICTSI in Cape town and includes the management of ICTSI's African assets and executing new deals in port and related infrastructure space across Africa. We managed to successfully turn around the one existing port projects in Toamasina, Madagascar. In this period, we have closed new deals in Nigeria, DR Congo and Sudan (totalling USD 325mn) and are in various stages of advancement with other port infrastructure deals in West, North And East Africa.
In this role, I was responsible for KPMG's transportation & logistics practice in India positioning the firm's wider capabilities and credentials within this space as well as leading multiple consulting assignments in private equity & venture capital, M&A and Government lobbying. During this year, the practice's top line grew by 40%.
