      Lead Project Controls for Basic and EPCm services on the NSE3-ISBL-OSBL project for NIPPON SHOKUBAI EUROPE on the OSBL installation and Project Controls on the NSE3-ISBL installation at Zwijndrecht executed in 2015-2017. The objective of this Chemicals project is to install all auxiliary equipment by designing Tank Farm, Big Bag Filling, conveying system and to add an additional 100kta Acrylic Acid (AA) plant - 2AA and two 50kta Super Absorbent Polymers (SAP) plants – ECA 3/4, together with the required infrastructure modifications. Key challenges of this project were Interface management with ISBL. By setting up an integrated taskforce with the Client team (local + Japan), Jacobs ISBL team and the Jacobs OSBL team, the required communication and interface management was achieved, resulting in effective interface control. My responsibilities included Cost Control, Progress reporting and Change management. Furthermore, I was involved in evaluating of field changes and the negotiations with the contractors.

      Client: CRI Lead Project controls for the Detailed design and execution on the revamp project for CRI on their facility in Ghent, executed early 2015. The objective of this project is to enhance the production activity. Client: ITC Rubis Lead project controls for the expansion of an existing Chemical Terminal Project (tankpit 4) for ITC RUBIS Tank Terminal Antwerp at their Antwerp site, executed in 2014-2015 for Jacobs Belgium. Services included all safety and environmental issues such as fire prevention and firefighting techniques, waste water treatment, permits, risk analysis, duty spec for package units and TIC estimate. Client: Rosier/Borealis Lead Project controls for the Detailed design and execution on the 6M€ TA revamp project for Rosier on their facility in Sas van Gent, executed in 2014. The objective of this revamp project was to replace some critical pieces of equipment that were EOL. Client: Dow Project Controls Management in the Dow Frame agreement as from 2014 till mid-2016. This included the development of new KPI reporting sheets and the quarterly reporting of these files. Client: BLP Estimating for the Conceptual design of the 8M€ Edge project for BLP Ghent, executed in 2012 and the progress reporting and change management during the Execution in 2013. Client: Shell Supply & Distribution Lead project controls for the Conceptual design on the 52M$ Tananger project for Shell Supply & Distribution on the fuel depot at Tananger, Norway, executed in 2012 and for the Basic design, executed in 2013. Project Controls Management in the Shell S&D Frame agreement as from 2012 till 2016. This included assistance in the IPA benchmarking exercise performed internally by Shell. Furthermore, the development of new KPI reporting sheets and the monthly reporting of these files. Also, upon request of Shell, these KPI sheets were generalized so that they can be used internally by Shell as well.
