As an application and project/ product manager , I provide services for all types of businesses, non profits and communities seeking to develop, initiate and implement new processes, systems, or services. At the community level I am a member of and work closely with art organizations, community redevelopment groups, place making initiatives to promote thriving walkable, sustainable and enjoyable work and living places in Northwest Indiana and Cicago’s South and East Sides. My most passionate area of interest is museum and historical experiential organizations who seek to both hear and tell the stories of the people and the trails they leave in ways that are impactful on all who visit. Prior to my recent community centered work I had a successful 30 year career as an IT application engineer and manager, working primarily for large law firms, managing Microsoft desktops, profiles, network accounts, Integrated Office apps, iManage, Citrix desktops and a multitude of niche legal specific applications, training department oversight , LMS, lit support applications, onboarding and offboarding attorney document collections, legal holds, client portals, firm templates, application packaging and distribution, patch management, and third level application support.
Bridge communication and service gaps by leveraging a certified PMP with 30 years IT, desktop, cloud, security, training, litigation support, DM, CRM and application suite experience. Understanding why you use it, what you need AND how it works improves all outcomes.
Assisting companies with IT projects, migrations, and supporting the PMO with other services as needed. Available to work off-shifts, weekends, or in branch offices to add additional support where needed.
Evaluate, Test, Implement, Configure and Apply Technology to Further the Goals of the Firm. Most recently I am working on implementing the Firm's CRM initiative, upgrading our PDF applications, related workflows and training, expanding our secure collaboration options, and developing new mobile learning content. In 2013 we configured new integrated application suite of Windows 7 64 bit, Office 2010, FileSite 8.5, LegalBar, Workshare, Payne, Acrobat and Nuance. Developed supporting materials and video clips for core firm and business processes and practice specific applications. Provided solutions to issues that inhibit work and look for new processes that enhance outcomes. Exploring new methodologies for collaboration and interaction within the law firm. Assisting Lit support team to streamline processes, develop protocols, document and manage case data, status and ownership. Documenting global network, desktop and application procedures using OneNote. Working on identifying issues for re-configuration as part of a continuous improvement initiative.
