Serves as the key program official in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Services (PM&RS) VA National Program Office with a primary responsibility for oversight and development of the VHA Polytrauma/ Brain Injury Network of Care. The program’s key representative and resource for matters concerning brain injury and polytrauma rehabilitation and case management.
Management of complex Occupational Therapy Program for Hunter Holmes McGuire VA Medical Center, a large tertiary care facility with general medicine and surgery, medical and surgical subspecialties, neurology, comprehensive inpatient rehabilitation, spinal cord injury, psychiatry, substance abuse, geriatrics and extended care, primary care, Defense and Veterans Head Injury Program. Provide supervision for 11 occupational therapists. Maintain academic training agreements with 4 universities and one community college.
Provided clinical care services to a diverse and complex patient population.
