I am a current LLB law student at Stellenbosch University and am in my final year of the LLB degree. Commitment, passion and work ethic are three values I always strive to achieve, and these traits embody my success so far in academia and leadership positions. At SACS High School, I aimed to take as many opportunities as possible to excel, leading to a 93.9% NSC Certificate aggregate in Matric and being elected Deputy Head Boy by my peers. Furthermore, it was a great honour to be selected to work for the 67 Kids To School initiative, a charitable organisation that successfully raised R80 000 to assist Grade 1 students in Masiphumelele. I was fortunate enough to be accepted to attend Stellenbosch University. I have continued to strive for excellence by being a top-performing law student, as well as competing in Stellenbosch moot court events and tutoring for the Faculty. I look forward to commencing my articles with Webber Wentzel at their Sandton office in January 2027.
Did a two-week vac work stint at Ward Brink, applying legal knowledge from university to interesting real-life cases. My vac work included court visits, court upliftments/filing, visits/filing at the Master's Office and the Deeds Office, drafting of combined summons, administrative tasks for conveyancing, client consultations surrounding issues of wills & estates, research into company deregistration, and research into trademark violations on scam websites.
I had the opportunity to do a 4-day vacation work at Ward Brink, which involved drafting, shadowing, and numerous court visits.
Vacation work; helped contribute with legal research and court filings.
