I’ve been in prepress for over 25 years and have come along way since conventional stripping. I know the software and. Use it everyday, (Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator). As updates get released, LinkedIn Learning has provided me with the resources to stay up to date. I also have a strong emphasis on color theory which helps tremendously in photoshop work. I also have experience in preflighting jobs and customer service assisting customers with sending files with fonts and graphics and well as bleed.
Take customer files and prepare them for printing. I preflight files to confirm fonts and graphs are supplied and printable. I manipulate files when necessary such as, lighten and color correct photos and convert spot colors to process. I have worked with imposition software (FreeFlow, Preps and XMF) to make sure files are laid out in correct order for bindery.
