Created and scaled Group in a buy and build strategy model of a PE-backed venture. Built the Finance function of the Group (100% growth). Built-up teams, IT landscape, implementation of reporting structures. Led the digitalization and optimization of all finance processes including Accounting, the budget-, working capital as well as cash management and project controlling process. Optimization of month-end closings, implementation of performance reviews for all entities. Leading through 1 selling and 2 buying-side M&A projects and the post-merger integration of the two acquisitions. Implementation of an investor reporting package. First-time implementation of group-wide annual financial statements according to German GAAP (HGB) and performance of the annual audit - leading to an qualified audit opinion.
Development of the finance function after the carve-out of the joint venture partner (Hire & Structure) Led through the challenges of the carve-out (development of processes and controls of the new service provider environment incl. optimization of the current processes and cost accounting.
