Former cog in the corporate machinery. ⚙️ After nearly a decade, my time at Amazon came to an end in August 2025. Along with a group of incredibly talented colleagues, I was impacted by layoffs. I'm using this opportunity to take a multi-year sabbatical to focus on personal projects, explore select opportunities of particular interest, and to be more politically active against the current administration (if you think that politics don't belong on LinkedIn, you're significantly underestimating the impact of politics in business). Professionally, I thrive at building zero-to-one global solutions that millions of customers love. I am an experienced software engineering leader and manager of managers with 15+ years of management and cross-functional leadership experience managing teams of 40+ Software Development Engineers, Quality Assurance Engineers, and Technical Project Managers. I've led distributed teams across multiple US time zones and countries. I have experience delivering products, features and services that utilize GenAI and have experience with client-facing and service teams at Amazon scale, subscription services, cloud, SaaS, SDK ownership, IT consulting and infrastructure scaling development and implementation, and deploying unique retail experiences, including Amazon's Treasure Truck. I'm passionate about technology, software, systems, and leading professional software engineers.
