I serve as the sole in-house attorney for a fast-growing, third-party logistics company, supporting the business wherever legal, risk, and operations intersect. Supporting every division of the company means no shortage of contracts to negotiate, problems to solve, or questions to answer. I work across our customer, carrier, warehouse, and vendor relationships, advising on the legal and risk questions that come with operating in a fast-moving industry. I also own the company's commercial insurance programs, managing broker relationships, overseeing renewals, adding new lines to support changing needs, and answering the internal questions surrounding it all. Beyond the legal work, I oversee Human Resources, staying involved with compliance, benefits, and the day-to-day employment questions that surface in any growing company. Risk management is the thread that connects all of it, whether at the transaction level or the enterprise level.
