About

I am an innovative Senior Software Engineer, experienced in planning, developing and verification of embedded flight software for several commercial and military aircraft projects. I have solid development skills in an embedded, distributed operating environment. I am involved in all life cycle aspects of my software products. My project involvement is in documenting development and verification methods, requirement analysis and development, software implementation, and verification testing in a DO-178B environment for airborne software. I have supported FAA certification for my work products. I also work as a Cost Account Manager of my current projects. I have served as a lead administrator and test software developer in a UNIX based networked solution. The system was composed of a relational database engine on a HP server with UNIX clients for test execution. The UNIX clients control physical I/O and environmental conditions for modeling and final testing of avionics products. I work in a integrated multi-disciplined team to develop the best solutions and support through customer deliveries. Skill set: -Integrated ESQL/C test application development -Develop C based test software that inteacts with the user, enviroment control equipment, and a database engine for record retention. -Database data analysis and reporting through a SQL interface -Editing and maintaining development process documents to support product certification with the FAA -Developing high level, low level software requirements including requirements analysis in a MS Word and IBM DOORS -Developing embedded software for the Intel Pentium, ARM, Microchip processors -Developing and implementing Verification strategies -Develop estimates for future programs -Develop and maintain project cost accounting -Support Certification documents for highly critical safety related airborne software.
