As Senior Client Manager on the Heineken Brand team, I was responsible for overseeing the delivery of all activity across the Heineken platforms and managing the day to day running of the account. 2019 had a particular focus on continuing the successful launch of Heineken 0.0%, driving Heineken Music's already strong association among the younger audience, all while promoting Heineken's sponsorship of the 2019 Rugby World Cup in Japan. The role involved working on the Off the Ball partnership with Newstalk, along with helping introduce new media partnerships to other brands over the summer. 2019 involved working on numerous IDDM projects - Ireland was 1 of 3 lead test markets globally that were running tests on data-driven personalisation with a view to delivering case studies and learnings to other Heineken markets. Working on the Heineken account also required a strong relationship with the Starcom global team based in Holland, as we were constantly involved in ensuring Ireland adhered to global mandates.
During my time as Client Manager in Starcom, I was part of a two person team that won the Irish competition in the media category for the ‘Cannes Young Lions’ competition and competed at the prestigious Cannes festival of creativity, representing Ireland. I worked as a client manager on the Heineken account, responsible for the day to day running of the media planning and buying on the Brand accounts (Music, 0.0%, Light) as well as the Cider portfolio (Orchard Thieves & Applemans). The role also involved leading the inter-agency relationship with Heineken's other partner agencies for the Cider brands. After joining the Heineken account in August 2019, I worked on the 'Sync Session' podcast series for Music, presented by Roisin Murphy and then on the media first content partnership with Packed.House to promote the #Nowyoucan champions for Heineken 0.0%. Previously, I was responsible for managing the day to day running of the AIB GAA account in addition to other products in the AIB Group including EBS Mortgages. I also managed the VISA Ireland account as the lead agency in Ireland, collaborating with both local and UK agency partners to deliver the best solutions for VISA in the Irish Market. The focus was on continuing the drive to make Ireland 'Cashless', meaning I was involved in the execution of a range of B2C and B2B campaigns for VISA, across offline and majority online channels. I also lead a new internal team tasked with promoting a consistently fun environment within the agency and was responsible for the financial health of each of my accounts.
Working across the AIB Group of brands, I have overseen the Maximum Media partnership for AIB GAA, played a key role in the campaign for launching Android Pay and was instrumental in turning around our finance process on AIB to the point that we have been called out as the best agency on finances. In addition to this, my previous experience has been of significant benefit to the Agency and in particular in my champion area of Radio – helping Centra save 17% on their radio plan by adjusting the spot mix. My role evolved to be a "hybrid planner", planning digital channels in addition to the offline channels and I have a growing knowledge of the Northern Ireland market, having worked on campaigns for both Power NI and First Trust Bank.
Working predominantly on the Musgrave business, I was responsible for the day-to-day running of the creative account for the Moo'd ice cream brand and owning the client relationship as the single point of contact in a full service creative/media capacity as we launched the brand in 2018. I also managed the client relationship on NOW TV, involved in the introduction of the Smart Stick product in to the Irish Market, where we partnered with Owen Colgan of the Hardy Bucks.
My role involved post campaign analysis of media campaigns against objectives, inputting data, using industry systems including DDS, Telmar, Mediastar, Nielsen and JNOR to assess campaign performance, looking for insights in data and preparing presentations detailing findings, liaising with media agency buyers and managing databases for benchmarking. I worked on accounts across a range of sectors for clients including Liberty Insurance, AIB, VW Group, Tesco, Meteor/Eircom, Failte Ireland and National Lottery.
