- Partner with Business stakeholders and Human Resources colleagues to enable them to move talent abroad for job positions in Europe, Middle East and Africa. Geographic scope: accountable for 11 countries. - Consult and advise managers on Cargill global mobility processes and policies and advise them on most appropriate assignment structure, relocation and compensation package to be offered. Provide clarity on cost involved. - Be accountable for full compliance with tax, social security and immigration legislation in home and host countries for employee and Cargill. - Review and finalize official assignment documents for employee, prepared by Cargill Shared Service Center and vendors. - Vendor management. - Escalation management. - 2021: Design internal framework and implement the EU Posted Worker Legislation within Cargill (project lead): Build knowledge on EU Posted Worker Legislation, streamline a process and seek to ensure compliance for the Cargill expatriate population. Train Human Resources on their new role and responsibilities. - 2019: Combined Compensation & Global Mobility role.
• Cross sector responsibility to implement the Johnson & Johnson purchasing strategy for Professional Services / Indirect Services in the various affiliates in Belgium and the Netherlands. • Execute purchasing process and supplier negotiations from intake of business need through contract signature. • As a project lead with core team members across Europe, define and implement a new sourcing strategy for Learning & Development Services in the six main employee centers of Johnson & Johnson in Europe.
Responsibilities: - Provide sourcing support for Professional Services to Johnson & Johnson business stakeholders in Belgium. - Lead and complete purchasing project for transitions from Individual Hiring of non employee labor workers to a Managed Services type of contracting of non employee labor workers. - Ensure compliance of Contingent Workforce to the Belgian Legislation and Campus policy on the Johnson & Johnson sites in Belgium.
Responsibilities: - Support the business and work with J&J Human Resources Departments worldwide to move talent around the world compliant with country regulations/legislation. - Counsel the business to policy selection/assignment structuring and assignment remuneration. - Manage the full relocation process starting from intake, advisory role to the business, due diligence, finalize assignment remuneration & official assignment documents, explain assignment compensation package to employee, authorize global vendors, manage vendors and manage exception requests. - Be primary point of contact for assignee and family during the entire assignment time until repatriation and ensure outstanding assignee satisfaction. Achievements: - Managed groups of assignees (up to 24) with critical timing and huge complexity in a succesful way. Worked out tools and processes to capture best way of working for this kind of rotational programs.
Provide assistance for inbound and outbound EMEA related expatriates. Since the launch of the Global Mobility EMEA team (Europe, Middle East and Africa) in 2006, I worked out the transition of legacy Beerse files to the new J&J environment with EMEA scope in close cooperation with the vendors. In cooperation with J&J Finance, I worked out up the finance structure/process to efficiently cross charge Global Mobility and Vendor costs to the respective J&J entities in EMEA.
