Supporting the total value chain by driving & accelerating the capturing, selection and execution of innovative packaging ideas and enhancements to increase customer value: • Managing and driving the overall processes of the Packaging Innovation & Design (PI&D) Forum. • Coordinating the Forum activities and communication between the Core team members (= virtual team with representatives from different functions with an expertise in packaging and//or operations). • Connecting with commercial to introduce the Packaging Innovation & Design initiative and participating in customer immersion sessions to capture innovative ideas to make the packaging of the Janssen products more customer friendly . • Leading the decision taking process related to idea evaluation, project prioritization and execution • Managing the need to adhere with PPM/Clarity process for the bigger projects • Leading/Executing approved Packaging improvement projects in a timely manner • Creation & maintenance of PI&D dashboard. • Linking to the Customer Value initiative and NPL/SCDLs to provide input/ lessons learned to influence the new product launches. • Maintenance of the Packaging Innovation & Design Portal (project status, realisations, news). • Publishing articles on diverse portals and in newsletters about the PI&D initiatives.
Managing the Global Graphic Coordination Team in order to deliver high quality artwork for JSC sourced products for Pharma and Consumer. • Directing the (senior) Graphic Specialists and (senior) Graphic coordinators in EU and North America for all Graphic coordination activities related with workflows, & processes (10 direct reports). • Continuously aligning the customer needs to the Global Graphic Services organization (processes, systems & capacity management). • Driving the right (preventive) behavior to reduce human related non-conformance issues within the Global Graphic Design. • Exploring possible further integration of new customers and new markets in our Global Graphic Services scope and/or leverages our processes & systems to external J&J stakeholders. • Driving PE lean culture and methodology deployment to improve processes related to the total value stream. • Follow-up and analysis of global metrics and KPI’s, and take appropriate actions if required. • Networking and communicating with stakeholders inside and outside the Global Graphic Services organization. • Responsible to log quality events and CAPA’s and investigate as required according to the global quality procedure
Coordinating the production and delivery of high quality artwork for all printed packaging materials to the J&J global pharmaceutical supply chain, within the agreed upon timelines: Connecting with customers throughout artwork creation to keep them informed of status of job, to solicit and resolve inquiries and complaints, to obtain approval of artwork and to procure information needed to process order. Converting demands of regulatory bodies into text modifications and demands of production plants into technical specifications for artwork. Developing a workload planning driven by priority setting. Executing the follow up of country specific metrics (SLA) and discusses if needed corrective actions with the countries. Acting as single point of contact towards the customers regarding specific projects (e.g. launches) or production sites.
