Global technology scout and innovation manager with focus on startups in the field of materials, sensor and display technologies, and robotics. Identification and evaluation of external potential partnerships. Establishment and coordination of cooperation between European universities, companies and research facilities and Sony in Japan in order to integrate innovative technologies into the Sony Group within the context of open innovation, licensing, technology transfers.
Technology manager with focus on materials and displays: technology scouting to identify and evaluate external technological opportunities, scouting of components and materials, especially for display technologies such as LED-LCD and OLED, but also for UI/UX technologies for displays as well as displays for automotive like instrument clusters, navigation, media, mirrors, and for internal and external lighting. Establishment and coordination of cooperation between European universities, companies and research facilities and LG in Korea in order to integrate innovative technologies into the LG Group within the context of open innovation, licensing, technology transfers. Evaluation of patent portfolios as well as the compilation of market and technology analyses. Cultural management to overcome cultural differences between Korea and Europe. Coordination of contract negotiations between European partners and the LG group. Innovation management and new business development in the technological area, especially for OLED-Lighting and sensor technologies. Organization of LG technology fairs in Europe. Countenance of implementing of open innovation organization structures within the LG Group. Actively participating in mentoring programs within the LG Group (LG Display and LG Chem) and actively attendance as mentor in start-up accelerator programs. Strategic networking by attending conferences, start-up pitches, workshops. Organization and participation in European research projects such as Horizon 2020.
