    Area Manager / Jacobs June 2016 – March 2017 Sabic gas cracking project Olefins 6 Wilton, Middlesbrough, UK (£40 million budget) Overseeing work on the ISBL, balance of plant on the changeover of the plant from naphtha to shale gas • Control all work activities on the furnaces and balance of plant. • Accepting RAP permits and making sure all contractors are following permit requirements. • Liaising with all contractors to alleviate SIMOPS as much as practically possibly. • Monitor and observe all work activities and report any unsafe practices. • Record and monitor progress of contractor’s activities to construction manager. • Assist QC/QA department regarding any quality issues and non-compliance. • Work closely with HSE manager to eliminate any potential safety issues on site. • Communicate every morning with Sabic FLM to discuss any potential disruptions before work commences each morning. • Ensure all permits are being followed as per permit requirement by sub-contractors to Sabics procedures. • Make sure sub-contractors are working to procedures set out in the RAMS • Attend toolbox talks before work commences • Ensure that JSAs are performed before and during work • Perform safety audits on a daily basis • Review all hydro test & drying packages before submitting permits reviewing the test limits and exclusion zones and co-ordinate this back to other sub-contractors on site at the daily co-ordination meeting. • Ensure all sub-contractors are working on priority systems for completion handover. • Ensure that scaffolding coordination is approved for each construction discipline , not causing interface between various sub-contractors

Responsible for application of the project Work Force Services procedure for Counselling and Disciplining System.
