I have 30 years experience in managing Garages and Workshops both in the UK and internationally. As a fully qualified Mechanic I am very hands on and enjoy training and managing multi cultural teams of mechanics. I have strong HSE qualification (NEBOSH level 3), and have experience writing Workshop and safety policies. With experience across a broad range of Yellow machines, light vehicles and Trucks i feel i am very capable of managing any type of workshop and vehicle/yellow machine fleets. I am currently working for an international company in Liberia, West Africa.
I Manage a Fleet of Vehicles and Yellow Machines totaling over 900 units. My responsibilities include the eight Garage Workshops that repair and service our wide ranging fleet which includes everything from Motorbikes to D7 Bulldozers. I also Manage the day today Logistics of transport including scheduling and routes of our fleet of Buses, Dump trucks articulated Trucks and Trailers etc. Over the last 6 Years i have consistently lowered the Budget of every department i have Managed whilst vastly improving all measurable performance targets.
